Palm Tree Villa - Pool Lift, 5 STAR RATING

We are a group of four with a severely disabled child. The villa was welcoming and spotless. The owner Andy has gone to exceptional lengths to ensure all ages are catered for. Andy ensured that we had everything we needed and maintained a great level of communication throughout the booking process and as the holiday grew near.
The villa is beautifully furnished to a very high spec. The pool hoist was superb and enabled us to access the warm and inviting water as a family.
We felt safe and secure in a peaceful location. I would not hesitate to recommend this villa and Andys hospitality to any family with or without a disabled family member. We will be back.

This vacation property was rented from the owners Andy and Amanda who were superb in their care for our needs. We rented the property for 2 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed this lovely sparkling clean home and pool. The decor was beautiful and the furnishings were most comfortable. All amenities (kitchen and bath) were exceptional. The location is convenient as it affords easy access to the nearby interstate highway and the local resort attractions. We highly endorse this property as a wonderful vacation rental home experience.

We have just returned from Palm Tree Villa. We stayed there for nearly two weeks and to say we had a fantastic time and enjoyed it there is an understatement.

The house is as clean as advertised. It has all the facilities in place to make it a very convenient stay even for us who were travelling as a family with a 7 year old and an 18 month old. There are TVs and cable in each bedroom, comfortable beds - king size, microwave, dishwasher, washer and dryer to ensure a faster job.

The neighbourhood was very peaceful and about 10-15 minutes to all Disney theme parks, supermarkets and eateries were nearby too.

Thank you very much Andy H for your excellent response rate to questions we raised before travelling and your cheerfulness, which really got us looking forward to the experience. We will definitely be returning in the near future

I have just returned from 2 weeks in paradise. When you are booking a vacation based on a few pictures on the internet you can’t help but wonder if you’re really getting what you expect.

I took my time and compared properties and prices in the Central Florida area and finally decided on this property. I was extremely pleased when I arrived to find that I had not booked a house, but rather I had booked a home.

The furnishings were contemporary and the décor was very classy and aesthetically pleasing. The master bedroom was large and had a decent size walk-in closet (with a safe) and a large private bath. There were 3 additional bedrooms with 4 single beds and a queen, which were all clean and very tastefully decorated. There is a common washroom directly off the pool area, which is very convenient.

The pool area was very nice, with a large covered eating area and a large enclosed in ground pool with a 5ft deep end suitable for toddlers. There is ample pool equipment such as air mattresses and rings, and plenty of toys and for the kids. The pool is serviced weekly and the water in June/July was very warm and refreshing after a day out at the parks.

The garage is a game room for the kids with plenty of entertainment, should they ever get out of the pool (ours did not).

The kitchen came stocked with everything you need to cook, and the fridge was very large and modern. Wireless internet signal was strong inside and out of the house.

The community was quiet and warm with nice houses and very limited traffic.There was a pharmacy, a Walmart and a grocery store within a 10 minute drive. I recommend a GPS if you plan to do much travel by car. We purchased a second hand TomTom and it guided us flawlessly through Florida without issue.

The most impressive and important point about this vacation was the communication with the owner. If I asked a question I received an email or a phone call within hours and every effort was made to ensure my stay was as pleasant and relaxing as possible. This included a follow up to ensure we made it home safe and sound. Thanks for the wonderful trip and the hospitality and we will be back! Rick, Tonya and Noah.

Where do I start. We planned to visit Disney World as a family and wanted a villa where we would be in easy travelling distance of the parks, yet somewhere safe and secure, with a touch of quality - well we found it!

The location was a nice distance from the park (about 15 mins by car) it was a great community which made it feel very safe, it was also very quiet and really tidy.

The villa itself was immaculate, the rooms were large and spacious, decorated to a high quality the main living area was fantastic, with a great kitchen which made preparing meals really easy. The bathrooms were wonderful with plenty of hot water and towels for a shower. The games room was just perfect for the children and to cap it all a supreme swimming pool - really clean and warm which was a fantastic draw when we just wanted a lazy day at the villa - we were in it for hours.

We would certainly look to go back and would recommend to all as a great place to stay in Kissimmee. It was a short drive to the 192 road with loads of restaurants and the supermarket was close by as well. All in all a great holiday made special by the Villa we stayed in and reassuring communication throughout with the owners Andy & Amanda were second to none.

Highly recommended to all especially families with young children or teenagers and great for people who have disabilities. You won't find a better villa at such fantastic value.

On arrival at the villa (easily reached from airport) with 4 young tired children, we had been traveling for almost 24 hours and it had passed midnight. We were easily able to recover keys and get into the villa and immediately put the kids into their immaculate and child friendly themed rooms. We also got a restful night in the beautifully decorated master suite. We awoke in the morning having had the best night’s sleep ever (in fact we felt like this every morning as the beds, pillows etc. were amazing, if I could have packed the bed in my suitcase when leaving I would have done).

In the morning, we were extremely grateful to find the welcome pack allowed us to have breakfast and lunch before having to stock up on groceries.

As we unpacked (this didn't take long as each room had a large amount of wardrobe and drawer space) and settled ourselves in, the kids were able to play safely in the lovely pool area which was extremely clean and enclosed.

Our eldest child is a coeliac, so food preparation etc. is important. The facilities in the kitchen brought a smile to my face, knowing it was equipped with every single utensil that we would need, every appliance was so clean that there was no danger of cross contamination and I could ensure all his food was prepared without this risk.

The washing machine and dryer were clearly new, large, fast and easy to use allowing me to stay on top of the washing daily, again another important fact with four kiddies.

We were astounded by the obvious lengths they had gone to, in making sure that there were age appropriate and gender specific toys for our children, including board games and books. In fact, all the toys and the vast amount of pool toys and swimming aids were brand new and unopened. This was really touching and again made a difference to us with four kids, as we did not once hear during our stay the kids famous words 'we're bored!' normally heard at least several times a day, the games room was an added bonus as the kids most evenings were able to play together safely and out of the way allowing my husband and myself to unwind from the day.

Each room had a TV and DVD player, not to mention a large selection of appropriate DVDs, again after hectic days it was lovely to settle down in the cosy family room and indulge in Harry Potter marathons.

The villa was so much bigger than I had imagined it to be, even if it had been half the size it was, it would have been large enough for the six of us. The layout was perfect and the contemporary deco impressive. The three bathrooms were extremely clean and provided enough towels for at least 100 guests including adult and child beach towels.

The location was extremely quiet, within easy reach of airport, Disney, Universal and local amenities, it was peaceful and safe.

In considering guests Andy and Amanda clearly took no short cuts or spared expense, it felt like home from home. Andy spoke to us several times during and before the holiday which made us feel we were staying in the accommodation of friends.

We have recommended the villa to all our family and friends. Should we be so lucky as to visit again, then we will not consider staying anywhere else.

After hectic, tiring albeit fun filled days we always looked forward to returning to the villa, which the kids have named 'Our Disney Palace". On the very last day of our trip having one day theme park ticket left to use, the kids opted to spend the day at the villa - clearly this says it all!
