Here at Direct Villas UK we’ve been doing a little research and listening to our members. Your feedback is always important and helps us continue to improve the service we offer.  There’s still more on our ‘to do’ list but we’ve made one change to our enquiry system today that we hope will see your conversion rates soar.

EVERY lead is now a hot lead!

We know you all lead busy lives and it seems that the vast majority of holiday home owners choose to concentrate their efforts on answering just the enquiries sent directly to them.

Not only that, but our figures show that huge numbers of general enquiries were going unanswered and a significant number of holidaymakers were contacting us to ask why they were not getting responses. When we asked owners why they didn’t respond to all enquiries, the majority said they chose not to respond to general enquiries as they were ‘not relevant to them’ or felt they ‘encouraged a price war which they preferred not to enter’.

Well – we listened to the feedback and as of today, the tick box option to send an enquiry to all properties with the same number of bedrooms has been removed!

Holidaymakers browsing the site are invited to use our extensive search facilities to find the property that best meets their wish list. From there they can make a direct enquiry to you, the owner/manager of the property. If they find more than one property that they are interested in they still have the option to add them individually to a shortlist (a shopping basket if you like) and send the enquiry from there.

For you the owner, it means that ALL the enquiries you now receive follow a viewing of your actual listing.

Yes – you heard right . . . . EVERY lead is now a hot lead!

This should give you more time to target those holidaymakers that loved your holiday home and help you increase the percentage of enquiries you convert to bookings.

And don’t forget to record those bookings in your Owners Area so we can invite your guests to review and rate your property on their return. Reviews and star ratings help you win even more business. Contact us to find out more about this option.
