Florida Villas and Vacation Rentals
If you are fortunate enough to visit Seaworld Orlando during the summer of 2009, you will have a real treat in store when you visit Seaworld. Construction of their newest theme park attraction Manta is now well under way. But what can riders expect from Seaworlds newest roller coaster?
Well as you would expect, Seaworlds newest ride is to have an aquatic theme in both name and functionality. Covering an area of around 4 acres, and towering 140 feet above the ground. The location of Manta has no doubt been carefully considered and chosen, to contribute to Seaworlds beautiful aesthetic surroundings, which imerse visitors in a well-maintained and spacious theme park.
Reports suggest that this mythical ride begin as riders enter a labyrinth of cave like structures, depicting images and text about the Manta, a most gracious creature of the deep.
This approach is in keeping with many other Florida theme park rides, but is a new concept to Seaworld, who up until now have only operated ‘simple queues’ to the likes of their current main attractions, Kraken and the Journey To Atlantis.
As expected the full details of this ride will be kept secret up until the date of Mantas opening in summer 2009, however the ride itself is expected to propel its riders through a myriad of twists and turns, along with the exhilarating highs, and lows which riders have grown accustomed to when riding any of Florida’s other true roller coasters. An artists impression of the ride gives you and idea of what to expect, however there is only one way to judge and compare roller coasters, and that is to ride them.

Riders are expected to travel face down, in a horizontal position, suspended above both land and water as it reaches speeds of around 60mph. Manta will without doubt be a huge success, and will further bolster the position of Seaworld, Orlando as being the home to some fantastic rides and attractions.
